Thereupon, a crowd-funding through social media was initiated by UTF for the medical treatment of the patient through Mr. Sajal’s Personal Bank account and on the following date (30.09.2017), the patient was brought to Agartala to be admitted to Regional Cancer Centre (RCC). After rigorous efforts by the Hospital Medics Faculty to revive back the patient for 43 days, when master Zailian was emerging healthier, his battle ended breathing his last breathe on 25.11.2017 (0332 hours).
“Lessons learnt : Though the well-being efforts of UTF and CAP to give life back to master Zalian were vained, the UTF members sincerely realized to help the family of late Zalian. This created in UTF members to look ahead in serving the neediest of society with zeal and new commitments. This incident also brought us to a better understanding that kindness and gratitude people has for helping the poor and the needy at the crisis hours across the globe still exists at large.”You can also help by making a donation to UTF, recognized as Tripura’s most trusted NGO.
