Issue : Reangdom Kaipeng is the elder brother of late Zailian Kaipeng, patient who was suffering from the last stage Blood Cancer (Leukemia). Since the well-being efforts to revive late Zailian could not be fruitful, UTF members realized that initiating awareness through education about social and health consciousness could be a remedy to save other children like late Zailian in these villages. It was in this instance that educational scholarship for master Reangdom was proposed.
Detailed Incident : It was during the month of March 2018, Mrs. Eshita Tripura, Member of United Tiprasa Forum (UTF), an employee of Food Corporation of India (FCI) as Assistant General Manager and posted at Shillong Meghalaya took the sole responsibility to sponsor educational scholarship for master Reangdom Kaipeng till his post graduation. Accordingly, on 28.03.2018, master Reangdom was admitted to Montfort School, Champaknagar, West Tripura and was accommodated the hostel facility in consultation with the parents and the School authority. Timely persuasions from the UTF members especially, Mrs. Eshita about master Reangdom with the School authority has bridged the confidence in the studies of master Reangdom as well.
“Lessons learnt : The UTF members sincerely acknowledge the committed help rendered by the alumni of Monfort School, MOSAT (Montfort Old Students Association Tripura) for providing School uniforms and Textbooks and Mr. Isaac Kaipeng, Hostel Warden of Monfort School for giving his efforts in giving utmost care for master Reangdom. The UTF also sincerely acknowledges the School Authority of Monfort School for considering special concession in fee for him.”
